What is it? Widening our sphere of care to what is essential. Attractive preparatory conversations that inspire openness to possibility and readiness for change

What we envisage: We would like to have a recorded conversation with you over Zoom. This reflective conversation sets the scene with understanding and clarity that unpins later work. There are just six questions at the heart of the conversation, which take us to an inspirational core of the matter, so we understand what is happening for you in your organisation and what you might want to engage with now and next.

What we have done already: Recorded reflective conversations between ourselves in the Habitable Futures collaboration as team building and between us and clients at potential client organisations, which mostly cannot be shared for client confidentiality reasons.

What is coming up: Further network strengthening between ourselves and our potential client organisations, through individuals stepping forward to say they are interested in taking this first step.  We think we might ask to use particularly inspirational snippets from conversations, to widen and strengthen our network, once you know and trust us; but only if you permit us. First and foremost, these are for guiding our work together, if we decide that is a path to take..  there may be many other paths that flow from the conversation.

What is it? Coming alongside large-scale groups to understand, engage and align with outcomes. Our offer is the living culmination of our combined experience, research and skill, synthesised for what matters most to us all.

What we envisage: We take what we’ve learned, make real contact with your people, to raise curiosity, awareness and responsibility and be supportively requiring as you banish myths and innovate reframes and new stories.

What we have done already: Group members have experience working with large-scale groups or systems and seeking out the myths that hold us in place, doing the same thing we have done before. We seek the stories and reframes that positively replace the myths with enabling narrative and new ways of seeing (and then being) in the system. We hold that each system has uniqueness that can be it’s saving grace. Each human can therefore contribute from their experience of a system something of value to move us forward.

What is coming up: Revisiting a collaborative inquiry across our own coaching community, across all the professional bodies.

What is it? Nature connected team coaching with accredited Coaches and experienced Facilitators. Align your team more with nature and what is needed for habitable futures by engaging teams in dialogues so nature becomes included and encompassed in conversations about the work.

What we envisage: Online, each member of the group picks an outdoors spot, we connect via smart phones; or in person, coming together on a common, a coastal path, a park or in a wood.

We facilitate a session where individuals engage with nature, with themselves, and with their own nature, and with each other. Developing these relationships strengthens the team and builds resilience. Coaching questions using curiosity and nature’s principles are introduced to direct the team’s attention to envisaging the future and what is needed to move toward a more habitable future. The group may work alone, in pairs, trios or as a whole, as needed to work with what emerges and what the team finds out from inquiring and listening together, with respect.
